Therapeutic Touch
Therapeutic Touch is a healing therapy that helps restore order and flow in the human energy field to promote wellness - a contemporary interpretation of several ancient healing practices and a consciously directed process of energy exchange.
According to Marleene Burfield, R.N., Coordinator, Therapeutic Touch Program at Toronto East General Hospital, "As a relaxation technique Therapeutic Touch is very good. You can see the effects of TT on the monitors...Blood pressure goes down, the blood's oxygen level rises...it's a complementary therapy so it enhances whatever treatment is already being given."

In a state of health energy flows freely in, through and out of the human energy field in an orderly manner. In disease or injury the flow of energy is affected and may be obstructed, disordered or depleted. Therapeutic Touch practitioners attempt to influence the energy flow using their hands as a focus to facilitate the healing process. The intent is to enable the client to re-pattern their energy toward wholeness and good health, enhancing the client’s ability to heal.

"Anyone can learn Therapeutic Touch - It is an inherent latent ability in every person, in every culture. Under the right conditions, it can be developed....There's something instinctive about the laying on of hands…We stub our toe, our hand goes there. We have a headache and touch our forehead."

Inspiration
When you center yourself in meditation, you are consciously experiencing wholeness, your individual unity with everything exists. When we are able to detach ourselves from personal interest, we can reach out to people in a much more enduring way. Dora Kunz Commitment made to your inner journey propels you into a new realm, a new way of being. Dolores Krieger Healing is described as a process of bringing parts of one’s self together at a deep level of inner knowing resulting in an integrated, balanced whole with each part having equal importance and value. What Others Say
The first thing I remember was how Julia invited me to go into a deeper state of self-awareness and become fully present in the moment...Entering this state, with Julia’s guidance, I felt a conscious shift that transformed outmoded patterns into fresh and efficient ones. I no longer carried the baggage that I had first carried over the threshold of her front door. And this was just the warm up! Malcolm McNeil, January 2010
