The KAIZEN Way of Life
Gives You Time and Energy to Spare

KAIZEN is a Japanese philosophy, system and coherence to continuous improvement as a way of doing things. Small, gentle, pro active steps taken to improve processes minimize the need for large-scale change that's often disruptive or worse, can lead to a state of paralysis.

The practice recognizes problems and challenges as opportunities to eliminate waste of all kinds

  • time wasters
  • energy wasters
  • space-use waste
  • resource waste

Kai Zen-inspired Coaching

Our approach to coaching is inspired by this philosophy of Kai - continuous and Zen - improvement and shares some of the same values:

  • participatory culture - we're all in it together

  • results and process focus - adjustments to the process delivers desired results

  • small, pro active steps taken in a timely manner, minimize waste

  • mistakes are opportunities for creativity and innovation

  • change is an opportunity for improvement

  • attitudes of judgment and blame are counter productive

  • success is measured through engagement and improved productivity which results in satisfaction.

Kaizen 5S Principles offer a structure and method to support continuous improvement processes and are as relevant to create efficiencies in manufacturing as they are in life.

Personal Leadership and Self Management

Life Coaching brings the two worlds of personal leadership and self management together.

As a leader you define what you want and as a manager you make it happen.

KAIZEN and Change

Pro actively dealing with change, can help you set SMART goals.

The continuous improvement methodology comes into play when you start moving into action - it's the management end of things.

The focus is ALWAYS on the moment. It's only IN THE MOMENT that you are able to make conscious adjustments that result in incremental improvements over time.

By trusting and paying attention to the process you live in the present and take responsibility for the outcomes. This focus on the NOW helps you continually align your vision and action, shifting behaviour as needed, so you're ready and able to accept the future you design.

Self discipline, accountability and commitment to process, develop emotional intelligence, effective leadership, creativity & innovation. A professional coach can help you accelerate your learning and personal development process. The result is reduced waste, supportive structures and a sense of control.

To be realistic and keep things in perspective, ask yourself

"How long has the situation you wish to improve been in the making?"

Self Care is critical

A personal development plan or change management plan provides both structure and step by step action guide with identified milestones. It can be very helpful depending on the scope of change you hope to achieve.

Commitment to continuous improvement is a daily practice. KAIZEN methodolgoy and the support of a strategic life coach can help you become your own personal change management expert with energy and time to spare.
